Welcome to Creative Kids Tales, Jack Heath.
Born in 1985, Jack Heath is considered one of the writing industries youthful writers.
At the age of four Jack moved to Canberra and cannot remember a time when he wasn’t writing. He began his first novel at 13 when he found the books available for his age were dull and uninspiring. Jack felt he could do better and submitted his first manuscript to a publisher - he was 17.
The publisher responded with a list of suggestions which Jack quickly implemented before returning the manuscript. By 19 his first book was released and he’s never looked back.
Jack has made a huge impact on the Australian writing industry releasing no fewer than eighteen books in a variety of genres and languages including crime, horror, sci-fi and children’s. He’s also had numerous short stories published.
Influenced by Emily Rodda and K.A. Applegate’s writing Jack also enjoyed reading Alien and the Doctor Who series more times than he can count.
While researching for his various books, Jack has trained with firearms, performed street magic, visited morgues, prisons and travelled through Russia.
In fact, if he wasn’t writing he would be pursuing his love of magic and music.
