Claire Hampson

Claire is an writer, teacher and blogger whose writing explores themes of diversity and belonging with a sense of fun and wonder.  She has had several short stories published in anthologies and through writing competitions and was the winner of the 2022 Kids and YA  pitching competition in the children’s picture book category at Writing NSW.

Claire reviews children’s books on social media featuring culturally diverse characters. She is passionate about sharing and writing books reflective of the wonderful students she teaches who have come to Sydney from all over the world.
