Linda is an emerging author of children’s picture books. As an Early Childhood Education Consultant, she currently writes journal articles and develops teacher resources emerging from ABC Kids picture books, television programs and podcasts. Linda also writes and delivers professional development workshops about children’s literature for key early childhood education organisations, including Story Box Library.

She’s passionate about the vital role quality literature plays in developing young children’s language and literacy skills. Her Instagram account shares tips and inspirational teaching ideas for using picture books as pathways for learning in early education services.

As an author, Linda has previously published several picture books on the topic of road safety education for the Kids and Traffic Program at Macquarie University. She now enjoys writing stories for young children featuring Australian slang, flora, fauna and natural environments.

She’s an active member of the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) Central Coast sub-branch and The Duck Pond. Linda has also completed several creative writing courses with the Australian Writer’s Centre, Scribbles Academy and various award-winning Australian authors.

Surrounded by beautiful beaches on the Central Coast in New South Wales, her hobbies include walking, cycling, swimming, cooking, photography and yoga. She also loves animals, drinking tea… and chocolate!
