CKT Founder | Publisher | Editor
Georgie Donaghey is an award-winning published author, editor, mentor, and founder of Creative Kids Tales and the Creative Kids Tales Speakers Agency. Her picture books Lulu, Clover’s Big Ideas and, In the Shadow of an Elephant appear on the Premier’s Reading Challenge, Kinderling Kids Radio, Kindergo and the Virgin and Qantas inflight entertainment channels. Besides publication in the Heat Anthology (for adults), she is also the publisher of The Creative Kids Tales Short Story Collection Vol 1 & 2.
Georgie was also bitten by a red-back spider at eight years old, but that’s another story.
Rod was thrust into the world of children’s books by his wife, Georgie. He’s read truckloads of stories to his children over the years, but only enjoyed them from a reader’s point of view.
Wanting to help Georgie assist aspiring authors from the Australian children’s book industry, together they launched Creative Kids Tales.
Rod is responsible for the design and structure of the site. Utilising his skills as an established website designer, Rod has helped the website (and it’s members) achieve great success in the various search engines.
When he’s not up until 2.00am working on the site, which he often is, Rod dedicates his time to their three children and his beloved Cronulla Sharks League team.
Editor | Assessor | APT Coach

Charlotte Donaghey was born into the world of books. She was dragged along to author events from a young age and then chose to attend them willingly, well sort of.
Charlotte has a talent for media and has created trailers for authors and publishers. Loving her time behind the camera, Charlotte has also captured festivals, book launches and author events through the lens of her camera.
But her passion lies with special effects make-up. She is actively pursuing this path and has her sights set on Hollywood.
