About Maryann Ballantyne
Maryann Ballantyne is one of Australia’s most respected and successful publishers. Over 25 years she has worked with and guided many of Australia’s finest writers and illustrators.
She is currently the Publishing Director of Wild Dog Books, a multi-award-winning independent publisher of children’s picture and non-fiction books. Maryann also works with Magabala Books on many of its award-winning children’s books, including Young Dark Emu, Cooee Mittigar and Baby Business.
Maryann has a passion for storytelling in its purest form and bringing Australian stories to young readers.
